ZHINENG QIGONG - SELF HEALING METHOD

WHAT IS QIGONG COMPARED TO ZHINENG QIGONG ?

There are approximately 3,000 different styles of qigong. Thus, qigong is a generic word which encompasses all the various styles. One can categorize the styles into basically three; martial arts qigong, meditational qigong and medical qigong. Zhineng Qigong falls into the category of medical qigong.

Very simply, "Qi" means life essence and "gong" means consistent effort. Therefore, the basic word means practicing with consistent effort, or daily practice with life essence. Qigong is based upon the Chinese philosophy that a powerful energy system (qi) exists within the body and flows thorough known energy pathways. Vital life energy is conveyed to every cell, muscle, organ and bodily system via these energetic pathways. If the qi patterns are disrupted by emotional distress, environmental exposures physical stresses, or any numbest of factors, a person becomes susceptible to disease. Health is restored when this disruption of energy or qi is rebalanced.

Professor Dr. Pang Ming

Professor Dr. Pang He Ming, is one of the pioneer grandmasters who opened the qigong secrets to the general public. Dr. Pang, trained in both eastern and western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine studied the forms of qigong throughout China before creating what he found to be the most easily learned and beneficial system of qigong. His knowledge of both western and eastern medicine provided a very strong foundation for his research into qigong. On the other hand, his knowledge of qigong also greatly improved his medical practice. In 1980 Dr. Pang continued to research and to improve the traditional qigongs, then created the Zhineng Qigong system. Dr. Pang, founder of the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Hospital and Training Center, explored the human-body science - the new frontier of medicine. Over the years, the center has treated more than 400,000 patients with more than 180 different diseases, and achieved and overall effectiveness rate of 95 percent. The use of qi had also been scientifically proven and documented to be effective in treating patients, to improve the yield of various agriculture and poultry products and to improve the quality of industrial production, at virtually no additional cost at all. More than 3,000 thesis on the research have been published in China. Grandmaster Pang has written many books on Zhineng Qigong. He not only created Zhineng Qigong, which is easy to learn and highly effective, but has also written the
Integral HunYuan Theories and introduced the use of the Qi Field to teach qigong and to treat patients.

Zhineng Qigong is designed to integrate the ancient science of qigong and the modern science of western medicine. Zhineng Qigong merges universal qi with human qi, transforming dis-ease or disharmony into formless qi and then we use it to strengthen our life energy and change the function and organs of the body. Everyone is born with qi, or life essence, but the skill to use qi requires training. In Practicing Zhineng Qigong we constantly exchange nature's qi with our own qi via our pores and pressure points along our energetic system.

Through our Zhineng Qigong practice we amplify this natural exchange by directing our thoughts outward to encompass nature's healing qi from the universe, then inward, back inside the cells deep within our bodies and all systems of the body. Combined with our intentions, one gently opens the power of the mind and heart to induce well-being nurture good health and balance our physical and energetic systems inviting joy into our lives while gently balancing the entire body, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

WHY PRACTICE ZHINENG QIGONG?

First and foremost Zhineng Qigong is a complete program of instruction including hands-on experience plus books, audio and audio visual aid, if desired, to facilitate continued home practice, gradually implementing the program into daily life. Since Zhineng Qigong is an intention based practice it can easily be adapted to all levels of physical abilities. As one opens to the understanding of utilizing intention with easy, meditative movement and visualization, one begins the process of opening the heart and consciousness inviting universal Qi inside. This initiates transformation and change on every level.

SUMMARY OR ZHINENG QIGONG SELF-EMPOWERING LEVEL II WORKSHOP
THIS IS A TWO AND ONE HALF DAY WORKSHOP
(WE LEARN THE ESSENCE OF LEVEL II )
CONSISTS OF: BODY AND MIND METHOD
(LEVEL II)

This workshop is NOT intended for individuals whose physical energy is compromised by a serious health condition. In this case, the 2-Day Workshop is recommended to build a solid foundation. Body Mind Method, Level II works upon the internal stage of HunYuan Qi, which will be explained. Body Mind Method is a series of postures and exercises in which the mind and physical body work together, united. It penetrates deeply into the layers of the body (skin, muscles, tendons, meridians, skeleton). While easy to learn, it is more physically challenging than Level I practice. Body Mind Method strengthens and beautifies the entire body stretching tendons and joints inducing Qi flow throughout the body. If you are at least a Two-year Zhineng Qigong practitioner looking for a physical exercise routine that is gentle on the body, will strengthen and improve your health, and deepen your Qigong practice, this is the workshop for you. Students receive the Body Mind Method MP3 (50 minutes) and many hand-outs for continued personal practice.

All students seeking teacher certification will be tested after the one-year program at a retreat by at least three Certified Zhineng Qigong Teachers, authorized by Master Liu. There will be a written test, and experiential test. After completing certification, each student is required to mentor with a teacher for no less than 3 months. This may be accomplished via Zoom or other internet methods, if the student is unable to work directly with the teacher in person. Detailed information will provided upon serious inquiry.
